• Respect yourself, your fellow classmates and your teacher at all times.
What does RESPECT mean?
    • Respect means not speaking while your teacher or fellow classmate is speaking
    • Respect means never criticizing or laughing at another student
    • Respect means maintaining the property and condition of the classroom
  • Come prepared to learn by bringing your binder, your covered textbook, a pen/pencil and a positive attitude to class every day. You will not be allowed to go to your locker if you have forgotten your materials and/or homework.
  • Be on time
  • Raise your hand when you wish to contribute or ask a question
  • Most importantly, believe in yourself and do your best everyday!!!
Class requirements
You will be expected to maintain and bring to class every day:
  • A 1 inch 3 ring binder with dividers. Label each divider:
    • Notes
    • Fiches (Handouts)
    • Devoirs (Homework)
  • Pens and/or pencils
  • Filler paper

Your binder will checked periodically. Each section should be in chronological order – so every item should be dated. I may announce a notebook check ahead of time, or I may check the notebook “as is” with no warning. The textbook will be used mostly as a reference and practice tool; resource materials are drawn from a wide variety of authentic sources in both print and non-print, and you will receive many handouts.
